“〔安得烈〕先找着自己的哥哥西门，对他说：‘我们遇见弥赛亚了！’” - 约 1:41
今天这段经文，讲述最早被耶稣呼召的门徒以及他们怎样邀请其他人来见耶稣的情景。
施洗约翰在前一天见到耶稣，他从神那里知道耶稣就是神应许的救世主（约翰福音 1:28-34），于是他便把这件事告诉他的两个门徒安得烈和另一个人。施洗约翰被差派来预备耶稣的降临，所以，当耶稣经过时，约翰便说：“看哪，神的羔羊，” － 表明耶稣就是那位人们应当跟从的人。
安得烈与耶稣同住了一天后，“他先找着自己的哥哥西门，对他说：‘我们遇见弥赛亚了。’”耶稣就是他们朝夕等待的救世主，所以安得烈便领西门去见耶稣。
次日，耶稣遇见腓力，就对他说：“来，跟从我吧！”跟着腓力便去找他的朋友拿但业，告诉他耶稣就是许多个世纪以来，神的先知所应许的救世主。当拿但业不肯相信时，腓力便力劝他说：“你来看！”
在某个星期日早上崇拜之后，朋友和我与一位男士一起祷告，这位男士邀请耶稣进入他的生命中。祷告完毕，我的朋友指着另一位站在附近的人说：“你去告诉他，耶稣对你有什么重大的意义吧。”
你会向谁传讲耶稣并衪对你生命的有怎样重大的意义呢？

亲爱的耶稣，你是世上每一个人都需要遇见的人。约翰、安得烈、腓力、和其他的人介绍别人认识你，我们为他们感谢你。求你帮助我们继续把这个好消息传开去。阿们。
约翰福音 1:35-49
35再次日，约翰同两个门徒站在那里。
36他见耶稣行走，就说：“看哪，这是神的羔羊！”
37两个门徒听见他的话，就跟从了耶稣。
38耶稣转过身来，看见他们跟着，就问他们说：“你们要什么？”他们说：“拉比，在哪里住？”（“拉比”翻出来就是“夫子”。）
39耶稣说：“你们来看。”他们就去看他在哪里住，这一天便与他同住。那时约有申正了。
40听见约翰的话跟从耶稣的那两个人，一个是西门彼得的兄弟安得烈。
41他先找着自己的哥哥西门，对他说：“我们遇见弥赛亚了！”（“弥赛亚”翻出来就是“基督”。）
42于是领他去见耶稣。耶稣看着他说：“你是约翰的儿子西门，你要称为矶法。”（“矶法”翻出来就是“彼得”。）
43又次日，耶稣想要往加利利去，遇见腓力，就对他说：“来跟从我吧！”
44这腓力是伯赛大人，和安得烈、彼得同城。
45腓力找着拿但业，对他说：“摩西在律法上所写的和众先知所记的那一位，我们遇见了，就是约瑟的儿子拿撒勒人耶稣。”
46拿但业对他说：“拿撒勒还能出什么好的吗？”腓力说：“你来看！”
47耶稣看见拿但业来，就指着他说：“看哪，这是个真以色列人，他心里是没有诡诈的！”
48拿但业对耶稣说：“你从哪里知道我呢？”耶稣回答说：“腓力还没有招呼你，你在无花果树底下，我就看见你了。”
49拿但业说：“拉比，你是神的儿子，你是以色列的王！”
Come And Meet Jesus
“The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, ‘We have found the Messiah. ’” - John 1:41
Today’s Bible reading is about Jesus’ first followers and how they invited others to come and meet him.
John (the baptizer) had met Jesus the day before, and he learned from God that Jesus was the promised Savior (John 1:28-34). So he shared that with two of his disciples, Andrew and another person. John had been appointed to prepare for the coming of Jesus, so when Jesus walked by, John said, “Look, the Lamb of God!”—indicating that Jesus was the one to follow.
After Andrew spent a day with Jesus, “the first thing [he] did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, ‘We have found the Messiah.’” Jesus was the Savior they had been waiting for, so Andrew introduced Simon to Jesus.
On the next day, Jesus found Philip and said, “Follow me.” Then Philip went to tell his friend Nathanael that Jesus was the Savior whom God’s prophets had been promising for centuries. When Nathanael was skeptical, Philip urged him, “Come and see.”
One Sunday morning, after worship, a friend and I prayed with a man to invite Jesus into his life. Following that prayer, my friend pointed to someone standing nearby and said, “Go and tell him what Jesus means to you.”
Whom will you tell about Jesus and what he means to you?

Dear Jesus, you are the one the whole world needs to meet. Thank you for John, Andrew, Philip, and others who told about you. Help us to keep passing along the good news. Amen.
